Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and advocate for animal rights in the US. Ali MacGraw is well-known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Her desire to be an artist was in part influenced from her childhood as a member of the New York family of artists. After working as assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to acting and modeling. In her first two films she received recognition as a winner of the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained the world to her in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the world in just three movies. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. She was a part of several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
