Zoe-perry

Perry is she is Chicago native, born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. She made her first appearances on television as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on Roseanne, an ABC comedy Roseanne. Her parents did not allow her to perform by her parents until the age of adulthood because they were afraid of the stress it would result in. Perry claims she never wanted to perform in high school, but she decided to begin performing as a form of social interaction at Northwestern University when she switched to the university from Boston University. Following her graduation, Perry relocated to New York to search for TV work, landing a few roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought Perry back home to California and she was able to find theatre jobs. Perry starred with her mother on stage in The Other Place at Broadway, back in 2013. In the year 2015, she was alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family. In 2017, she had a minor role on ABC's political thriller Scandal that starred her father. Also, she was cast on the CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. The role was given to her through audition, despite the fact that she is a relative with the character.
